This Workshop provides a fun & nurturing environment where children can explore their artistic talents and learn new skills through a variety of crafts & activities. At Serenity Creations, children receive an exciting & engaging experience where they get to work with a wide range of materials and create a new craft to take home every session. The workshops are guided by an experienced art educator who encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and personal expression. The small group setting fosters a supportive learning experience and great friendship building opportunities for every child. Meet the Teacher
Ms. Chelsea
Hi there! I’m Chelsea, and I believe in the power of creativity and self-expression. As an experienced Middle School Art Teacher with an extensive background in the arts and special education, I’ve seen firsthand how a little bit of paint and a lot of encouragement can transform a child’s confidence. I have lived in the Downriver area my entire life and I noticed the important need for children to have an out-of-school Creative Arts Program.
I founded Serenity Creations to be a peaceful and fun sanctuary for children where their imagination can run wild. Whether we’re diving into a STEAM-powered craft or exploring new materials, my goal is to provide a nurturing, small-group environment where every child gets the personalized attention they deserve. I take pride in providing a space where young artists can flourish and discover the joy of creating. Let’s get messy, get creative, and find the joy in making something uniquely ours!
